The photographs and video stills presented on this page are part of the documented record surrounding John E. Morgan’s case. They include crime-scene photographs and images captured from dash-camera footage.

VITULLO: “I did.”

HENDERSON: “Okay. And so you went to him after that and you said, Daniel Peek Jr., what did you just pick up off the ground? Right?”

VITULLO: “I did not.”

HENDERSON: “You didn't follow up with Peek, Jr. and find out what he was picking up?”

VITULLO: “That's correct.”

Photos taken of John’s vehicle on the day of the incident show personal property inside the car, including cash and a laptop. Yet the YPD Towed Vehicle Information report documented “nothing of value” under the vehicle inventory and “Accessories Removed: none.” 4 - YPD Incident 22Y034140 - Ma… The photographs appear inconsistent with the written description of the vehicle’s contents and raise questions about how accurately the property inside John’s car was documented when it was taken into police custody.
