Meet Your Advocates

Megan Elizabeth

If you ask Megan what her best feature is she's going to tell you "My hair". In fact, she often jokes about being famous after a celebrity complimented her hair during a meet and greet. Her co-workers often call her "famous red".

"Is that your natural color, it's absolutely beautiful".

Megan's personality is unique, and I often refer to her as the sour patch kid. She has the sincerest heart, genuine soul, kind nature, but an attitude that would make anyone "blink twice" if they got the wrong version. She has dedicated her life to her two beautiful girls. A teen mom whose life changed for the better. A volunteer in the classroom, and a softball coach when her girls were younger. Megan often worked two jobs and went back to school for her business degree. She has her associates in business and bachelor's in human services.

She is an ordained minister, a notary public, and owns her own business as an LLC. Passionate for helping others and giving back, Megan wanted to do something purposeful after her girls went to college.

In 2024 Megan's significant other was sentenced to life in prison. Instead of giving up she turned to God for guidance. She spent the last 19 months researching and devoting her time to God. She has always had a passion for helping others and by advocating for those without a voice, Megan's dream quickly became reality. She is a dedicated mother, daughter, and friend. She enjoys softball and basketball and will play a game with her girls in the backyard. She loves her job and clients, but more importantly she loves making a difference.

Favorite Quote: "be kind, laugh often, and make memories.

Favorite Bible Vs: "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand" (Isaiah 41:10)

Kimberly Ann

Kim has three children: 2 boys and 1 girl. She is married to her best friend of 15 years and enjoys Friday night football games with her friends. She is a "mimi" and enjoys her time with her grandkids. Megan and Kim met in 2016 while working with the developmentally disabled. Their friendship grew over the years with Kim being Megan's "right hand ma'am". Kim has been assisting Megan with research and development and has a lot of insight regarding the judicial system. Kim is a great asset to the team and brings years of experience. Kim's favorite holiday is Halloween, and don't have call her "Kimmy".

Jessica Marie

Jessica, often referred to as EDNA became involved after watching the docuseries on A&E Accused Guilty or Innocent of John's story. Jessica is a dedicated mother and loyal spouse. She reached out to Megan after watching videos on TikTok of the unjust of John's trial. Jessica works with the developmentally disabled and is active in youth sports. Jessica has been a vital member of the team and volunteers her time finding caselaw and classes to help with current events. Jessica is vocal and isn't afraid to share her beliefs.

Jessica's motto is "do unto others as you would have them do onto you. It only takes a smile to make a person feel good about themselves.
